Embed EasyVideoPlayer videos to WordPress
Finally add videos inside your WordPress content without the hassle!
Download the plugin from WordPress.org
It’s been hard — and very technical — to embed EVP videos inside WordPress content…until now. The EVP plugin for WordPress changes everything – it is now simple to add EVP videos to your content.

Hi Zack Katz,
brilliant, you solved the problem for Viperbl1!
BUT I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM, I paste the video code and when I click on insert, it does not work.
Please tell the secret to everybody.
Thanks

This has been an issue for months and I have the same problem. Please tell us how to fix it and don’t keep saying this should be fixed in version 1.2 because I have version 2.
Have you tried using a different browser? I have not been able to reproduce this issue in version 1.2 of the plugin – it works well for me.
Also, there is no version 2…I assume you mean you have version 1.2? Note that this plugin is different from the official EasyVideoPlayer plugin – the EasyVideoPlayer team has their own plugin for WordPress. If you have version 2, you may be using their plugin. This is the support for the plugin available here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/easyvideoplayer/
Is there a reason this plugin NEVER works? Honestly, I’ve tried it on 4 of my sites, and not once has it worked. I’ve found this plugin to be useless.
Could you please email me the video code that won’t work for you? It works with every video I’ve tried.

This plug in does not show the EVP 2 box when in the visual mode, opens up the “embed an EVP video…” and every time I paste the code and hit the “Insert Video” button nothing happens.

Yeah I cannot get it to work either
Please send me the code that’s not working to [email protected] – without this code, I’ll never be able to fix what’s going wrong.
Didn’t work for me either. I must be doing something wrong or it is faulty.

Yea, I’ve got the same problem.
When I get to the “Embed EVP” flash window, I paste the video code and when I click on insert, it does not work… it does not insert anything.
Is it possible to be a flash problem, since it opens the flash pop-up window?

I figured it out… it still did not work with the flash window, but the sample code is like that:
[wpevp id=”evp-e1870a8895fbaa0afc0709bceee54c50-wrap” class=”evp-video-wrap” src=”http://yoursite.com/evp/framework.php?div_id=evp-e1870a8895fgaa0agc0709bceee44c50&id=ZG9uZS5gcDF%3D&v=1295281853&profile=home-page” init=”ZG9uZS5tcDQ=”]
In other words, you put “wpevp id=” instead of “div id=” and so on… If you follow this sample code, there will be no problem 🙂 You have to do this manually unfortunately, it took me 10 minutes searching through the auto-generated code in EVP, but that’s how it works!
Still, it is quite a technical issue that may have nothing to do with EVP plugin at all. Sometimes when I insert images in WordPress, pops up that flash menu, and I can’t insert them…. it appears to be froze sometimes, so I had to save the image in the “library” first to be able to insert it with the “flash window”… I think this issues does not come from the plugin, but from the flash menus inside WordPress itself…
