How to uninstall Adobe Apollo

Adobe Apollo was the code name for Adobe AIR, which has since taken its place. I’ve been trying to update my Twhirl application, but I was getting a message that I couldn’t update it because it was not made for that version of Adobe Apollo. Well no kidding, it was made for AIR!

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling AIR, but it turns out all I had to do was the following:

Uninstalling Adobe Apollo: it’s simple!

  1. Go to ./Library/Frameworks/ (not YourUsername/Library) and delete the folder named “Adobe Apollo.framework“.
  2. Empty your trash
  3. There’s no step three…that’s it!

Hope this helps your anger issues.  It helped mine 😀
